Method I – Click On The Music Icon At The Top Of Your Screen While Posting A Story. 

Step 1: Open Your Instagram app. 

Step 2: Tap on your profile picture on Instagram located above in the left-hand side corner. 

Step 3: You can either click a new photo or take a picture from the gallery for your Instagram Story. 

As for me, I selected a screenshot from my gallery. 

Step 4: Click on the music icon located at the top of the screen on the right-hand side. 

Step 5: Search for whichever music you want and click on it.

Step 6: Now, you can add the music by clicking on Done, which is located at the screen’s right-hand corner. 

Moreover, you can make edits or change the music lyrics by shifting the rectangle box and fitting whichever you like the best.

Method II – Put Instagram Story Via The Music Sticker. 

Step 1:  Open Your Instagram app. 

Step 2: Tap on your profile picture on Instagram located above in the left-hand side corner.  

Step 3: You can either click a new photo or take a picture from the gallery for your Instagram Story. 

Step 4: Click on the sticker icon located at the top of the screen beside the Aa icon. 

Step 5: Click on the Music symbol in the third line. 

Step 6: Browse for whichever music you want and click on it. 

Step 7: Now, you can add the music by clicking on Done, which is located in the screen’s right-hand side corner. 

Furthermore, you can also make edits to the music by shifting the music rectangle to the lyric part you like.

You might want to add Music from other streaming apps, as not all songs are available on Instagram. 

Steps on how to add music from other streaming apps:

Step 1: Open whichever song app you wish to share music from. You can select from Spotify, Apple Music, SoundCloud, or more. 

As for me, I’m currently using Spotify, but you can use any other app as per your choice, as the process is the same. 

Step 2: Now, choose the song you want to share.

Step 3: Click on the Share option. 

Step 4: Click on share “Instagram Stories”. 

Step 5: Well! Now it’s done. Click on your story and post it on your story. 

Method II – How To Add Music From Your Own Library?
